Screenshot AI works with GPT-4o (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), and llava via Ollama for local processing. All of these support image input.
Yes. The capture, annotation, download, and clipboard features all work without any AI provider. AI analysis is an optional enhancement.
Screenshots are sent only to your configured AI provider when you request an analysis. If you use Ollama llava, everything stays local. Screenshots are stored locally in chrome.storage.
