In addition to the Talura software, you need accounts with external services. These run under your name and are billed directly:

Text-to-Speech

After registration, you set up your first AI agent: choose an industry, customize the greeting, and add your business information. For operation, you need API keys from external providers (AI model, speech recognition, text-to-speech). Many providers offer free starter tiers. The dashboard includes a step-by-step guide with current provider recommendations. Setup takes about 15-30 minutes. Alternatively, we offer a Setup Service (EUR 250 flat fee + EUR 300/h based on effort). Note: Telephony providers require personal registration with identity verification on your part.
In addition to the Talura subscription, there are costs for external services that you book directly with the providers:

Talura is hosted by lern-digital.de on European servers – your data stays in Europe. When using only local services (Ollama, Piper, Whisper, Fritz.Box), no data is transferred to the US. When using cloud APIs (OpenAI, Deepgram, Twilio, etc.), these providers transfer call data to their servers – please review their data processing agreements. Automatic data deletion and encryption are standard. Responsibility for GDPR-compliant operation lies with the operator. Want fully GDPR-compliant operation without external cloud services? Talura uses modern text-to-speech technology with natural-sounding voices. You can choose from various voice profiles and adjust the tone to match your business.
For complex inquiries, Talura automatically transfers the call to a human employee. You define which topics trigger the transfer. Outside business hours, a callback request is recorded.
For phone connectivity, you need an account with a telephony provider (e.g., Twilio). You must register yourself and complete identity verification. You can then set up a new number for the AI agent or use call forwarding from your existing number. We are happy to help with the setup (as part of our Setup Service).
No. All Talura plans are cancellable monthly. There is no minimum contract period. Please note that in addition to the Talura subscription, costs for external services apply (telephony, AI model, etc.) - these are detailed above.
